94- 850 turbo has oil leak after head gasket replacement. 850 1994

My ex-son in law was driving my daughters 850 when he hit something in the road.
The radiator needs replacing and I thought that the head gasket blew but it was the exhaust gaskets. So now we have it all back together and running better than ever, an oil leak started. It was dripping from beneath the oil pump flange so I replaced the oil pump seals but the leak persisted. A friend told me to check higher on the block for a leak since the leak doesn't start immediately. It is very hard to see the block at all with the intake manifold in place. I think I found a leak at the thermostat housing. I didn't use the original bolts to reinstall it so I think they might have bottomed out and failed to seal. My question is , is there bolt holes that need to be sealed to hold the oil pressure elsewhere on the head ? I know that the exhaust studs seal the water pressure.
Thanks for all help !!! rkmacman 94-850T 98-V70XC FWD 84 Iveco Truck

I removed the head again and found that the head gasket leaked at the point where the oil is pressurized to the head. That oil line runs along side of the thermostat housing connection to the head. I torqued the head to Haynes Specs but it must have relaxed enough to spring a leak. I used the IPD head gasket kit but now I will use a pure Volvo head gasket. Getting a radiator from Erie Vovo since the repair job we did didn't hold.
I just thought I'd share my troubles with you all. It may help in some way.

You need to take off the cover over the timing belt and run the engine. Look for leaks at the two cam seals. The bolts for the thermostat do not seal oil passages.
