Hi everyone,

My question is almost embarassing, but can someone please tell me how to remove the battery from my 1989 240? I can't seem to find whatever it is that's holding it in place. There are no obvious bars anywhere, and I'm starting to feel like an idiot.

    The bottom of the battery tray has a lip that fits into the bottom groove of the battery. There should be a small holder at the base of the battery to keep it from sliding.

    It's been a while since I worked on my 1988 245.
