Location of cabin filter(s) V70-XC70 2001

Does anyone know if there are one or two cabin filters on a 2001 V70 T5?
I have located one under the glove box, but don't know if I have a second one.
If so, can anyone tell me where it is located?

Also, can you provide me with the part numbers for the cabin filter(s)?

Thanks, Fred.

There is only 1 filter and you found it. There are 2 different kinds, plain paper filter or charcoal for a fresher smell. Look around at the online retailers, 2002-4 should also fit.

Hi,
just renewed mine. there are two slots, one for paper filter, one for carbon ie. multifilter for cars with electronic air quality sensor.
the small nose in the bottom of paper filter is more to the side and carbon is more to the center of the filter and box slot respectively.
You shouldn't install both says the manual.

Thanks Klaus, you always have really good helpful answers. Would you happen to know the part number for either of these filters? and which one would you recommend?

Also, another Brickboarder answered my question and indicated that there are actually two separate slots, one for each filter, but said to only install one. Do you know anything about this? Thanks very much, Fred.

Unlesss you are ordering a bunch of other things from an online supply house, I would just go to a dealer and get the either of the filters. The $5 shipping fee added to the discount price will get real close to the dealer price.

Remember, these filters need to be replaced annually and the charcoal filter is much more expensive than the regular paper one.

FYI; important V70-XC70 2001

Hello, It's possible to install both. There's a slot for each of the two types of filter. DON'T INSTALL BOTH. I've seen that caveat several times. Kira
