"SRS Airbag Service Urgent' message V70-XC70 2003

Hi,
In a post earlier in the week I wrote that all the dash lights in my wife`s XC went off as she was driving to work. Thinking that it might be just a fuse I told her to stop by our local "indie" to have him take a look. He checked the fuses which were Ok but when she started the car the SRS message came on. The dash lights work now but I`m concerned that the airbags would not work in the "unlikely event of a water landing". I know that she will have to take the car to the dealer to have the SRS reset
Has anyone else had this experience & what the cause/resolution?
Thanks,
Rich

The new fangled cars have a computer to handle the dash, so be aware that the dealer wants to make an other trip to the Bahamas. Just have him pull the code and reset it.
