V70 AC Problem

My AC system will not blow (much) through the dash registers. I can turn off the compressor and it will blow normally, but with increasingly warm air. As soon as I turn the compressor back on, I can hear the damper close and the air flow cuts to about 10% of what it should be. It's getting hot in Dallas. Any ideas?

    Is this happening with the fan speed and diretion settings in "auto", or are you manually doing it.

    If it is NOT in auto, I suggest setting everything to auto and AC on, turn the engine off and back on to check for blinking lights (fault).

    Also make sure that the cabin filter is clean and the center dash vent is closed for outside air, the extra wheel.
