Sway Bars C70 1998

Has any one out there replaced their factory sway bars on their C70 for an IPD or any other type of sway bars? What difference did you notice? Was it worth the investment? I am considering changing out the sway bars, but I would like to hear from others that have done it.

Thanks for any help.

Yes I have the IPD bars, on top of the factory "sport suspension", yes it was worth the investment (to me) and I also have the Volvo strut tower brace.

Re: Sway Bars C70 1998

Are the IPD bars installed on a C70? If so, what exactly did you gain/notice with them along with the Volvo strut brace?

I have the Volvo strut tower brace and I have not installed it yet. I called IPD yesterday, and they do not have the re-engineered sway bars in yet.

Thanks for the reply.

Re: Sway Bars C70 1998

Surprised you haven't heard back yet. Have you checked the archive, here? Though I haven't tried them, reviewers here have been pretty positive about the change, as there's still a bit of body roll in the stock Volvo "sport" suspension. You should consider the strut tower braces, as well. For what it's worth, my indy tech (an IPD installer) says the Volvo tower brace is cheaper, more nicely finished and just as good as the IPD brace; but the IPD sway bars are the best for the money.
