A/C Delco Rapid Fire 9s OK for T5? 850 1996

Went to the local parts shop today and all they had for plugs were AC Delco Rapid Fire 9s. Are they correct for an 850 turbo? I can't seem to find a cross reference chart.

    Used the Rapid Fire plug with no loss or gain in performance.

    Worked fine.

    What's wrong with the OEM platinum plugs for your engine from your dealer? They're about $25 for the set and easily last 30K miles w/o problems. Why use anything else?
