Help figure out this mysterious misfire V70-XC70 1998

1998 V70 Turbo. AWD. 87k miles

We had a little misfire a few weeks ago that got worse. CEL came on and had a misfire in #3.
Decided to do a tune up and replaced the Wires, Plugs, Cap, rotor and Main coil.
The car seemed to be better but then the misfire came back. CEL back on. This time we got Crank sensor malfunction code. Replaced the crank sensor. The misfire got a little better but still didnt go away.
CEL back on with random multiple cylinder misfire.
Kinda out of ideas at this point. Any thoughts?

What kind of spark plugs are you using? They should be single prong copper, preferrably Volvo labled and gapped at .028

You didn't need a coil if the other plugs were working, save the old one for a spare.
Almost time for a new fuel filter, but wait til you see where it is LOL

You might want to consider a compression test with a warm engine.

Any obvious vacuum leaks? Those lines are 11 years old.

Air cleaner good? Replace the cabin filter, just for good AC.
