You could wait until the fan dies, however that could also have ill effects on the rest of the system. There are aftermarket pusher fans available for the front of the A/C condenser for < $100. They would have to be wired into the system, but function the same. It is doubtful that the existing fan can be disassembled and repaired. In fact, given the cheap and available aftermarket fans, I wouldn't even try. You could try a junkyard fan, but you never know. An aftermarket one would work well and would probably last for several years, the same as the existing fan.
If the A/C fan is inop, there is no telling the effect on the radiator fan, but one could assume that it would work harder, as the secondary (condenser) fan would not be removing any heat from the condenser or the radiator while running. I would definitely replace it, although whether you need to use a factory part, is debatable.
I would expect more life from the auxiliary fan, but I don't know what kind of parts that particular car has up front. No matter the car, the principle is the same. The fan is there for a purpose, so replacing it with a functional unit would be a good idea.
