Latest Model to Use Flame Trap Design

Hello-

Are there FWD/AWD Volvos out there that don't employ the flame trap design in the PCV system? e.g., c30s?

    I was lead to believe that 2001+ cars don't have a flame trap. When was the last time you heard of a car engine exploding because a backfire went through a vacuum line to the crankcase?????
    If you have an older 850/70, at least remove the plastic screen. All it does is plug things up.
