I've been troubleshooting my front brakes for over a year now. Put in new rotors, put in new shoes(twice), greased the brakes up to high heaven...no luck. any thoughts??

Vibration causes the noise. Does it do it at all speeds or just very slow with light pressure? What kind of pads did you use? Did you bed the new pads:

Slow speed only, squeals right as the car comes to a complete stop. Just put on the Volvo brand pads. Had PBR pads before that(they are still new). Did not bed-in the pads, never heard of that.

they were quiet. The rotors had to be replaced though.
