MAF V70-XC70 2001

Got a code of 1171 and seems to point to MAF. Any opinions on replacements?
I see IPD has one, so there must be others out there or would Volvo's be the best bet.

Thanks in advance

No, the error was correct and apparently it has something to do with the trim being at upper limit. Car runs okay but has rough idle when cold. Since this car is new to us we don't know what the mileage should be like.

Before you rush out an order a new MAF, I suggest checking any vacuum elbows around the intake manifold for cracks/leaks. I use a butane cigarette lighter, no flame, and see if the idle changes when the butane is directed toward a vacuum line or the intake manifold gasket.
Also check the accordian air intake tube directly in front of the throttle body, it has a tendancy to crack with age.
If the vacuum leak is large, you should hear it at idle.

I could not find a P1171 message. Did you mean P0171?
