i was just wondering if anyone knows were i could find an engine diagram for my s40 turbo since it didnt come with a owners manual for some reason and i am not very familiar with the engine. what i am looking for is the idle air control valve and the throttle body so i can clean them as i am doing a tune up. thanks.

    The throttle body can be found by following the intercooler piping to where it enters the intake manifold. The idle air control is very close to the throttle body, and it has a 1 inch hose connecting it to the throttle body.
    The owner's manual will not show these items, I even doubt it will have a picture of the engine bay in it. An owner's manual can be purchased from the dealer for about $25 (parts dept) or from the Volvo 1-800 number. I go to this web site to look at manuals online: http://www.volvocars.com/us/tools/OwnersInfo/Pages/VolvoOwners.aspx

    Then go to "Your Volvo" and select search owner's library.
    I suppose you could then do a select all and save it in a PDF on your PC
