Brake hose to line connection V70-XC70 1998

As is typical I start a job and everything is going so well and some little issue becomes my stumbling block. Putting on new front brakes discs to hoses. Should be easy with all new parts. Except for that pesky hose/line connection. I've WD40'd them, torqued, left over night, soaked again, torqued. They won't budge. Well I am chicken to really bear down for fear of stripping the hose end with the wrench. I am thinking I'll cut the hose and then can get deep dish socket on it. Any idea's? By the way the bracket the connection sit in is not "keyed" onto the hose nut is it?

Any suggestions greatly appreciated!!!
Thanks

Torch it. Don't cut that line, or if you have don't try this as brake fluid is flamable. I've succesfuly used a MAP torch on some really stuborn line-to-hose joints. A set of flare wrenches is highly recomended too. Heat the union until it turns red / orange. Be carefull and wear safety glasses.
