Vehicle Speed Sensor location, 95 850 Manual Transmission 850 1995

Hello, I have a 1995 850 with an inoperative speedometer. Does anyone know where the speed sensor is located on a manual transmission car?
Any help would be great
thanks
alek

When the speed sensor fails, you should have a few trouble codes present.

The sensor is in the same position, manual or automatic - on the tranny housing. It is a 2 wire connector, and the speed sensor looks like this:

I am totally baffled as to why there is no diagnostic for the failure on the A-7 DTC socket. The A-2 should have 3-1-1.
