A strange condition exists with the Passenger side mirror. when I unlock the car with the remote and open the drivers door the seat and mirrors reset but not as they should. The drivers mirror always continues to tip up until it start to click. I hve to reset the mirror every time. I've taken it to several dealers and they have no answer. Anyone have a diagnosis and cure? I need some help.

I think that the power seat memory on our '04 keeps track of the mirrors too. Have you tried re-saving the 'correct' mirror position on the seat memory ?

I have tried re setting the seat & mirror but the pssenger side mirror runs up to where it starts clicking and then stops. The mirror works normally when I re set it withe the control switch. Could this be some kind of software problem, & can it be fixed?

Mine does that every once in a while. The "clicks" come from the adjustment mechanism that reaches it's limit. You probable have the mirror in a marginal position (i.e. your legs are either too long or too short ;-) ).

I typicaly fix it by pushing the mirror surface with fingers in the desired direction. That stops clicking.
