2001 S60 dies intermittently when stopping S60 2001

my 2001 S60 dies about 60% of the time when stopping - warm or cold. Car runs perfect down the road and is getting great mileage. Throttle position sensor?? Put new fuel filter on and changed the plugs. Thanks

If you car is an automatic, try shifting to N if the rpms fall as you near a stop. The tranny might be at fault, not getting out of converter lockup mode. If this is true, then you will need to stop by a dealer and get the code updated. Known problem.

Thanks for your help. Little consused though. If it does it when I put in nuetral (and it does) that means I need a code update? Thanks

No, that means that you need to look at the idle control valve(motor) and clean the throttle body.
