Headlight Adjustments S80 2001

It seems that my left side headlight beam is aimed too high. How can I adjust it?

Here is probably more info than you need (IF I CAN ATTACH A PDF FILE).

Oh well, can't figure how to attach a PDF file, so here's the best I can do. See the following link.

      Headlight Adjustments, easier... S80 2001

That is a very fine article! I have always had E code lenses on my cars and find that 2 sheets of paper taped to the wall work just as well.

Drive the car up to the wall until the bumper touches it. Place a sheet of paper on the wall in front of each headlight. Using a dark marker, trace the cutoff line on to the paper. Back up straight for 20-25 feet. Then adjust the headlights so that the cutoff beam is about 1-2 inches below your original mark.

I like 1 inch lower, it gives me the most light for low beams without blinding oncoming traffic. If you have a SUV or light truck, all bets are off.
