Lazy rear side marker lights S60 2004

My s60, (as well as several others in the same year range that I've noticed) seems to suffer from lazy rear side marker lights.

The lights don't usually work after the car is started, but once you tap on the tail lamp housing, the lights come back to life.

Has anyone else encountered this?

I'd think you would also get a "lamp warning" on the dash too. However when you bump, all you are doing is making a better connection, so there is a wee bit of corrosion present. It doesn't take much to stop 12 volts (but a good thing unless you like to be shocked), ha ha!! If it concerns you enough, you'll need to get in there and clean things up.
