stalls when idleing 850 1996

ive posted this before but im still haveing the problem and cant figure it out. my car when its cold will either stall or drop to about 300 rpm when at a stop or at low speeds like when coming to a stop. its an automatic and i have cleaned both the throttle body and the IAC there are no hose leaks and the air filter is a K&N ad is clean. i know the IAC is running because i can hear it humming with the key on. It has a new Catalytic converter and sensors. if anyone can give me any help i would appreciate it because i can think of anything else.thanks.

Hi, how are your plugs, gasoline pressure when idling and injectors, cleaned?
Is your new cat from volvo? could it generate too high back pressure? did this start just after new cat installation?

I've had the same problem with my '96 850 wagon (manual, 280K miles) for several months now. 'Have to let the engine warm up for a couple of minutes before I take off, or else it'll stall. 'Took it to the Volvo dealer, he thought it was either a vacuum leak or MAF sensor. He ruled out the vacuum leak, and installed the MAF sensor for $540. Still, the problem persists. I will take it back next week.

Does it make any difference if you put in in neutral, when coming to a stop? This might validate it is an engine control issue and not a transmission one.
