Rear Wheel Bearing Failures V70-XC70 2003

I have an '03 V70 XC with 91,000 miles. This vehicle has had a rear wheel bearing replaced once already. The right rear wheel bearing is now howling and I'm taking it in for it to be replaced on Monday under my extended warranty. Are these vehicles prone to wheel bearing failures? I have a '96 855 Turbo with 298,000 miles and never replaced a rear wheel bearing yet. I've replaced the front wheel bearings though... Any insight would be appreciated.

Thanks

You are only the second person on this site that has complained about rear wheel bearings. Watch out!! The bevel gear oil will over heat because of the additional drag, so replace the bevel gear fluid when you get the bearing replaced.
Are you running 18" wheels?

No, just the stock 16" Rims. It's due for a bevel gear oil change anyway, i will do that.
