What do you think about the 2004 Volvo S80? S80 2004

Hello,
There's a nice 04 S80 at a certified dealer near me. Is there any known problems like the early S80 years? How much money could i expect to spend in repairs/maintainance per year? (by the way, i will be getting a warantee). What do guys think?

    The 2004s are OK, not the best cars avail, just OK. I still don't like the T6 engine with the twin turbos, too much engine compartment heat that fries electronics.
    A good guarantee is required, but read the fine print. Make sure it covers all of the electronics, not just the engine/tranny.

      I've owned my '04 for a number of years and aside from a few trunk computer gliches its been a fine machine. I spend about 1K a year on routine maintenance. With help from others on this site it has been a reliable auto indeed. I do have the 6 2.9 engine.

      1996 960 306K
      1993 940 313K
