it's $13,000 and it has 64K miles. How do any of you guys like yours. have you had major problems? thanks.

    We have a 2002 XC-70 with 60,000 miles. Have had it for two years. I have had one 2001 S-60, two 1999 S-70s, one 1999 V-70, two 1995 850s and 0ne 1993 940). The 2002 XC-70 is the most trouble free one I have ever owned. It is one impressive vehicle. Only thing I replaced was the turbo control solenoid valve (a $50 item that is a snap to replace) and they seem to fail every 30 to 50,000 miles). I knew of the need when I bought the car. Recently we went on a 1,500 mile trip towing our 2,500 lb pop-up trailer. About 80% of the trip was pulling the trailer (mostly highway) and the rest was around town and off-roading. We got 22 mpg overall and I was very impressed with the off-road capability. Not a jeep, but very good, better than any car-based "SUV" I have driven. On-road handling is very good, though I have added the strut brace kit from IPD, and very much recommend it. $13,000 seems good if it is in good shape. Good luck.

    Have a 2003 XC, has 65K miles on it and has been a perfect lady......
    As I recall, the only warrenty work was replacement of a front end bushing about 45K. Art

      Hi,
      Wife has an 03 XC; excellent car. Purchased from dealer with 43K on it. Wife commutes 100 miles daily & she loves it. Only problem was bevel gear replacement @60K which was covered under warranty. Dom`t know if previous owner
      drove around on the donut tire for an extended period or not.
      A friend also has an 04 XC which he bought a year ago & loves it, again no problems. He is currently on a 3000 mile road trip & I spoke to him a few days ago; "This is one cruisin` road machine!!"
      That`s our experience.
