My dad lives in the District of Columbia. He is driving an 850 with 130,000 miles on and still taking it to the dealer for service. I am looking for recommendations of at least four good, honest shops in that area that I can pass along to him.

I've been using Scandinavian Import ServiCenter in Rockville for many years now.
They have transport to and from the Metro, and have a rental car deal available (from nearby place). They've done well for me.

Also have used AutoScandia in Reston. Good work, fair price.

There is a pull down menu on the top right of the index screen. Go to "shops" and plug in the state. That will give you a start.
For a birthday or Christmas present, buy him a scan tool incase he gets a check engine light.
