My v70 turns over but won't start V70-XC70

I have a 98 v70 that was working fine. Drove it to work one morning and when I went to leave it would not start. It turns over fine just will not start. I have replaced the plugs, put in some dry gas and replaced the fuel filter. Can anyone help?

    If it isn't fuel pump relay as Klaus suggests, I'd suspect cam or crankshaft position (aka "cam angle" or "crank angle") sensor failure.

    When you replaced the plugs, were they wet or dry as a bone? If the CEL isn't on, it is probably a fuel problem.
    Turn the key to position II and listen for the fuel pump prime for 2-3 seconds. If you don't hear it, that is your problem. Hopefully it is just the fuel pump relay, numbered 103 (pink) under the fuse box cover. You will need to remove the 4 T25 screws to lift the cover. Try tapping in the relay with the back of the T25 screwdriver and see if the pump primes when you turn the key. Otherwise, remove the relay and insert a wire to connect slots 87 and 15, turn the key to pos II, and listen for the fuel pump. If it works, you need to fix or replace the relay.
