Lower engnine mount ? S70

I was wondering how long the lower engine mount will last before i have to consider replacing it? or how i might know its bad?

My upper mount lasted about 75k miles.
Thanks in advance,

    Hi,
did my lower mount last summer on 850/-94 with about 150 k miles on it.
clear indication was swinging drive shaft after uneven road.
one knows when it hits, no doubt.

Usually makes it presence known by a clunk when you shift from R to D. My mount lasted 130K miles, but the previous owner did have the front replaced due to an accident. The rubber part of the mount does get old and begin to fall apart during very spirited driving.
A good mechanic will look at it when it is time to inspect/replace the right A arm.

Thank you for your post. I just rechecked and found my upper engine mount actually died at 59,000 and i didnt use the car that much.

The OEM upper mount is subject to too much heat and fails early. That is why many of us use poly bushings there, they seldom break down and are easy to install.
