AC Problems continued V70-XC70 2000

Also I meant to mention in the last post that as soon as the temp starts to go up the car starts to shift strangely and doesn't upshift unless you let off the gas.

AC Problems continued V70-XC70 2000

When the coolant gets hot, the radiator gets hot. When the radiator gets hot, the tranny fluid gets hot. When the tranny fluid gets hot, the TCU will not shift early to a higher gear because it wants the pump to work faster to cool off the fluid.

You problem appears to be the engine fan. When you turn on the AC, the fan is supposed to come on. Check the relay that is hanging on the plastic behind the radiator. Those relays have been known to fail.
