Here we go. Spent Tues afternoon, and some of this morning replacing the PCV system on my 96 850 turbo auto wagon. I did make some mistakes along the way and had to retrace my steps at times. I knew an OBDII scanner was in my future and purchased one this morning to clear the codes I set (forgot to hook up the MAF, and found I had not pushed the connector onto injector #1)
Trying to drive it with the Check Engine light on was mundane. Better with the codes cleared, but it still seems a bit sluggish. When I start it up, the idle will stutter a bit then clear. While driving, it doesn't seem to have the same amount of power that it did. Then again, temps were much warmer today (85+F) and I have 89 octane (mid-grade) in it.
Is the fuel rail self-purging? Other ideas on what I might check? When I replaced the odometer gears, I pulled the boost needle off and reapplied it (no input) at the center position.
TIA,
Nick
