oil return line leak 850

I have a 1994 850 turbo and for the past 2 weeks I have noticed that the oil return line is leaking. I am planning to fix the leak this weekend, since this is my first time to replace the seal/gasket? do I need to remove the turbo unit to remove the oil return line? Thanks for any info that you can provide.

Klaus, thanks for the info you provided. Replaced the turbo oil return line "seal" in about 30 mins. I used a small pry bar to move the upper oil pipe about 5mm to reinstall the return pipe.

Heavens no, don't remove the turbo!! Read this: http://volvospeed.com/Repair/turborepairline.php

Just be thankful you don't have an AWD Volvo, it requires an extra joint in the forarm.

Klaus
