Noise from front left wheel when turning right from a stop 850 1996

I have been noticing a strange new noise from the front left wheel of my '96 850 wagon (260K miles, manual trans.) when making a right turn from a dead stop. It almost sounds like a 'baseball card in a biycicle's spokes'. Any ideas?

    If you're all the way hard rigth it could be a chattering steering stop. Just put some grease on it. or.... could be the CV joint.
