Wheel bearing rumble (again) S70 '98 S70

My '98 S70 front passenger side wheel bearing is starting to rumble again after being replaced last August. The one before that lasted only 13 months (just after the warranty expired of course). Is there a known issue with Volvo branded wheel bearings? The car drives and steers fine so it doesn't appear to be a front-end problem. The first bearing failed (after 8 years) shortly after the struts were replaced which may or may not be a contributing factor. Any suggestions on what to check before I take it to my Volvo repair specialist (not a dealer)?
