rear passenger side door lock doesn't open with remote or key S70

Last week the passenger side rear door on my S70 stopped responding to either the remote unlock or the turn of the driver's door key. I can manually unlock it from the inside and it does lock in response to the remote just not unlock. What could cause this?

    That shouldn't be too bad. You will have to pull the door panel off. The electrics are OK. But the pin that pushes up the lock may have fallen out of position. Or the plastic broke.

    Watch out for the plastic tabs that hold the panel to the door.

    The 164 has a new home, all I am left with are a 95 854T and a 98 V70R :)
