93 850 dies either at light or at 70mph 850

1993 850 GLT seems to be just passing out with no symptoms

Typically it started right up after the occurance but now it takes a few minutes to get a bite.

I was wondering if these cars use the same Fuel Relay that plagues us 240 owners since i currently drive a 92 240...

No codes, No SES lights, nothing

Simply dies.

The fuel relay usually goes out when it gets hot. And there are no error codes, of course. Relay #103.

Remove the relay (#103) and look next to the pins in the base. Molded into the plastic you should see the numbers 31, 31b, 15, and 87. Fashion a jumper wire and jumper between the socket connections that correspond to pins 15 and 87. If the car fires right up your relay is bad. If it still doesn't run then you may or may not have a problem with the pump. The only way to tell for sure is with a fuel pressure gauge.
The above stolen from Ozark Lee.

My 1993 GLT did the same thing. Very intermitent. Fuel relay was the problem. Easy and quick DYI. Klaus helped me with it. Thanks again Klaus.
