cabin air filter V70-XC70 2004

replaced the cabin air filter yesterday on my '04 XC70, 52k, today the cabin smells like a vacuum cleaner. any ideas on what could cause this? Rgds

    You are smelling dust in the air. The filter is either the wrong size or not seated properly. Pull it back out, spray some Lysol in the area behind the filter, and make sure the filter covers the entire area.

    The 164 has a new home, all I am left with are a 95 854T and a 98 V70R :)
