A/c problem on 960 (V90) 1997

Air conditioning comes out upper registers then changes to lower registers at random. Dealer has had car and unable to solve problem. Any suggestions greatly appreciated.

    And the dealer cannot find any problem codes with the ECC?? Normal operation is for the AC to blow from the dash vents until the temp inside the car is reached. Then the air flow is mixed with the floor vent to maintain proper cabin temps.
    I would think that your "sun" sensor on the top of the dash may be covered in dirt or not working properly.
