Can anyone advise me regarding the repair of an odometer on a 1996 Volvo 850 GLT?

Thanks in advance for any advice that you may be able to provide.

    Buy both gears. And lightbulbs, might as well replace them while the instruments are out. The larger bulbs can be purchased at any autoparts store, and the small bulbs are found at radio shack, 2 micro bulbs for $1.50.

    When removing the instrument cluster, there are 3 connectors, 2 large ones near the top and one smaller one at the rear/bottom for the computer display. If you have a turbo boost gauge, the vacuum line needs to be disconnected by the hood release lever.

    Removal takes about 30 minutes, the first time.
