It is pretty hard to hop up an 850 because the engine is quite advanced as it is.

If you want performance, save your pennies and get a turbo or an R model. A great set of tires can make quite a difference as will suspension upgrades on an older car.

If you want a couple of inexpensive mods for appearance, go to the gallery, search for 850s, and look at the 12th and 13th pictures down. I have added a R model bumper, painted the louvre and grills silver, and painted the bumper covers and side trim.

Later, I painted a set of wheel covers to match the side trim on the green wagon. The trim and wheel covers match the interior.

Adding a stripe or graphic to the car adds bling also.

If you need repairs to your interior upholstery, then McCoy Tops in Queens is great. Nice people, quality work. Lorenzutti in Brooklyn really knows 850's, but probably won't have many suggestion for horsepower. For that you might try Rawbear Performance in NJ. Have you gotten any air intake mods? There's K&N for that. Have a look at IPD for all kinds of good stuff. Have Fun, Drive Safe.
