Hello again. I disconnected my battery today on my 2000 XC for servicing. When I reconnected it the radio is calling for a code to unlock it. I've read a few different ideas people have, but I'm looking for the real answer for what I need to do. I bought the car used so I do not have the owners manual.

So long as the radio is original to the car, any Volvo dealer parts guy can look up the radio code using your VIN. They normally do not give it out over the phone.

The 164 has a new home, all I am left with are a 95 854T and a 98 V70R :)
