Oil extractor viability on "white' motor

In the quest for gadgets the idea of oil extractors has caught my eye.

On the RWD forum it is mentioned these devices don't work so well as you can't get the extraction tube all the way into the sump of the Red Motor.

Anyone with experience with this on the White Motor?

thx

Not good. It does not get all of the oil out and works best when the engine oil is cold. You always want the engine to be hot when changing the oil to make sure you get all of the "sludge" out.
It surely isn't hard to get your 17mm wrench and remove 1 bolt.
