Door Locking problem V70-XC70 1998

My right side, rear passenger door will not unlock using the driver side switch. the passenger lock will stay in the down position or locked position, while all other doors unlock. what's the problem?

Can you then pull up the knob and have the door unlocked? Does it then lock when the driver's door is locked? If so, it is probably just a pin that is out of alignment. You will have to remove the panel to find the loose part.

Welcome back. Tell your kids not to pull on the handle while the car is being unlocked, it will break the lock mechanism and be a costly fix.

Yes on both questions. Can I find directions on Bay 13 to get the panel off? This car just does not like me, something new pops up broken every month!! Keeps me busy though.
