850 motor swap

I have a 94 850 automatic non turbo that needs a new motor.can anyone give me a quick list of what years to look for and what to stay away from? I may have access to A 93 that runs good but someone in a different post mentioned that a 93 might be an oddball year,anyone know if that engine might be compatible? Thanks in advance

    You are stuck with a 94-97 NA engine. 93 used different OBDI and timing belt. 1994-5 are drop in swaps, 1996-7 had minor changes and relocated fuel lines.
