antifreeze mix 850

Just saw an ad for 1996 850 glt for cheap, owner said she loaned car to a friend, he put wrong antifreeze in it and hasn't run since? Could there be major damage, going to look tomorrow?

        I did forget to add that she said it overheated so I'm thinken head gasket or damage to the head, already have 740gle that need headgasket, not excited about that.

          The heads on the 850 are a lot more complicated than the 740. If it has overheated, I would leave the car where it is.

            Yes thank you, has no compression, I think I'll stick with the simpler engines, till i can afford a mechanic. Thanks for the advise and happy new year!!!!
