The Subaru Outback cargo barriers are not compatible with tethers (you can't use the tether if you are using the cargo barrier). Is this the case with the cargo barriers and tethers in Volvo wagons? I want an AWD wagon with a cargo barrier and I need to be able to use the tether for my kid's car seat. Thanks!

    My 1998 V70 cargo screen comes up out of the rear seat back. So, if your car seat needs to wrap around the top of the seat, then you are out of luck.
    I thought new car seats plug into the metal hook at the base of the seat?

    The 164 has a new home, all I am left with are a 95 854T and a 98 V70R :)
