    2006 V70 Rim/ hole pattern and tire options? V70-XC70

    Hi,

I have 17" Volvo Cassiopeia wheels on my 2002 V70 2.4T. For me, it's a good compromise for the driveability (smaller wheels feel more wobbly, bigger wheels feel harsh) and the looks of it. Think they look great, and I've never seen the combination with the V70's over here in Belgium (were sold with S60's).

I have an 02 V70 2.4T with 215/55/16 for the summer tires and I ran a set of 15" rims with 195/65/15 last year for snows. They were no problem other than being a bit narrow and would spin easily on take off. I think the rims were off a 940 or something, bought them used. But I think the rims are pretty much the same on most newer Volvo's .....V70, S70, 850 ect, as far as bolt pattern

If you look at the clearance between the wheel and the brake caliper, you may find that the 1/2inch decrease in radius you get from a 15inch wheel may not clear it.
