Heated seats in 04 V70 V70-XC70 2004

I bought the car in May. I took the car back and mentioned the seats did not work. I was told they were set to 98F and the tech cranked them to 109.5F

My wife and I can tell a difference, but I would characterize it as tepid. Both my '89 245 and 04 Accord seats get much hotter.

I was told by the dealer they were at their max setting.

Is there some way around this setting, or something I can do? Perhaps the seats don't work? I'm trying to avoid taking it back to the dealer and getting charged $100 to be told they're fine. I really don't care for the dealer's service up to this point.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I have a 2004 V70: I live in New England. When I put the seat heater on (both lights on the switch are on), it gets too hot and in 10 minutes I have to re-set the switch to one light on. The same is true of my wife's 2003 XC heated seats.
It sounds like you may only be getting the low seat (one light) heat setting, but I do not understand why both seats would seem to perform the same???.
My 740, 940 and 850 seats did not heat as warm as the V70's.
