HELP: Car in for Alignment 850

Hi I have my 95 850 T5 with 16" wheels at the indy trying to correct an alignment problem. THe dealer told me the alignment specs are the same for all S70's. Is that true? If so does anyone know what the specs are for the front alignment?

Regards
Sandro

HELP: Car in for Alignment 850

I dunno if S70s are the same, but check out this rather official looking Volvo document for the 1995-6 850: http://www.volvoclub.org.uk/tech/service/850/WheelAlignmentSpecificationsProcedures.pdf

The last page of that document gives the wheel alignment specs. In short,
Front Toe-In: .11 To .21 inches (.23 To .43 deg.)
Front Camber: -1 To 1 deg.
Caster: 2.33 To 4.33 deg.

Hope that is helpful and got to you in time.

set the toe in a little; 1/16". set the camber as close to 0 or straght up. the caster is not ajustable unless you elongate the upper strut mount holes, waste of time. make sure the air pressure in the tires is the same on both sides. Do it your self in your level garage. there is plenty of web sites. do a Google.

good luck
