1994 850 Turbo - What to look for in this model? 850

Might be looking at a 1994 850 Turbo with 101k. Is there anything particular to watch for with this model? Is it a decent DIY car. I have some experience with 240, but none with 850s.

Good service records really help. Check that the rear main seal is not leaking and that the AC works. It is quite a transition from the RWD to FWD but you can do it especially with manuals and study. For me, I swore I never would own a FWD car but there were no more RWD Volvo's, consequently my learning car was a 94 855 turbo.

Have fun,

dick
