Hello All,

1995 850 Turbo with the upgraded ECU from IPD.

The cruise control in combination with the turbo makes for a very erratic drive. The boost gauge is constantly fluctuating up and down trying to maintain a consistant speed.

Is there anything I can do to smooth out the operation? I love using cruise and every other Volvo I have owned/driven has had a great cruise control system. Help.

Hi,
yes you can. OBD B2? is able to take in definition how to operate. Did it once -98, but have forgotten the procedure and would like to program my 850 as in --98 after total loss of settings since some years.

Check for a cracked vac line might be the cause of your problem.

If you pull the battery out of your car, the cruise control body is right under the battery and you can see the vacuum lines running into it. I'm guessing one is just loose.
