I have found play in the inner tie rod on the left side of my V70XC. I can see movement in the rubber boot (and no where else!) when I move the wheel back and forth. I've done outer ones several times.

I have never had an inner go before and don't know if any special tools are required, and I have seen no procedures in DYS manuals for this. Has anyone done this or have any advice as to procedure? Is this something that can be done on the car DYS?
