S60 brake replacement S60 2003

I recently replaced the front pads with OEM from FCP exactly according to instructions. The brakes function perfectly, but I have a rattle from them except when they are being applied. Any ideas on what I did wrong? Thanks

The retaining springs may not have been put back on properly or if they went back on very easily, they are no longer the proper tension and need to be replaced.
Putting the springs back on should be a cursing experience :)

Are the mounting bolts still tight? Did you get the springs back the right way?
Is it really the brakes? These cars eat sway bar end links, and dead links rattle.
